Dr. Ioana Constantin-Bercean, Executive Director Anna Lindh Foundation Romania

Dr. Ioana Constantin-Bercean is an associate lecturer at the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Sociology and Social Work and at Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Faculty of European Studies, within the Jean Monnet Chair “Green Deal and European Negotiations” program. Dr. Constantin-Bercean has studied or collaborated on various projects as a research associate in Western institutions such as the International Peace Institute (Vienna, Austria), the Diplomatische Akademie Wien (Austria), the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (Austria) and the Hudson Institute , Washington, DC (USA), is the author of two individual volumes, Reinforcing Deterrence on NATO’s Eastern Flank, Riga: LAP Lambert Academic Publishing (2017) and The Great Powers’ Nuclear Diplomacy toward Iran, 2003-2015, Cambridge Scholars Publishing (2022 ), coordinated the collective volumes Turcia la Centenar. Quo Vadis? (2023), ISPRI Publishing House and Secolul XXI sub lupa expertelor. Diplomație, Securitate, Comunicare Strategică, Feminism, Drept și Economie and is the author of numerous articles published in collective volumes and scientific journals in the USA, Austria, Turkey, Poland, Germany, Great Britain and Hungary.
